Our adventure begins with departure from Nairobi for an exciting road trip to Rwanda. Enjoy the scenic journey as we travel towards the Land of a Thousand Hills, sharing good moments and building excitement for the days ahead. Upon arrival, we will proceed with the necessary arrangements and settle in according to the accommodation schedule.
After breakfast, we explore the beautiful city of Kigali, known for its cleanliness, modern architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Our city tour includes a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where we learn about Rwanda’s history and journey of reconciliation. We will also visit the iconic Kigali Convention Centre and enjoy an Imbuga city walk, taking in the city’s charm and memorable sights. After the day’s activities, we return to our accommodation for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, we visit Kimironko Market, one of Kigali’s popular local markets, where you can discover Rwandan crafts, fabrics, fresh produce, and everyday culture. We then continue our adventure towards Nyungwe Forest, one of Rwanda’s spectacular natural treasures. Here, we experience the famous canopy walk, offering breathtaking views of the forest from above. After our adventure, we proceed with the day's travel and accommodation arrangements.
Today, we head towards the beautiful Lake Kivu region for a relaxing and scenic experience. Enjoy a memorable boat ride on the lake as we take in the stunning surroundings and fresh breeze. We also visit the Namyumba Hot Springs area in Rubavu for a refreshing swimming experience. The day offers a perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and opportunities to capture beautiful holiday pphotographs.
After breakfast, we explore Rwanda’s royal heritage with a visit to the King’s Palace in Nyanza, where we discover the history of the Rwandan monarchy and learn about the traditional Inyambo long-horned cows. Later, we prepare to welcome the New Year in a joyful atmosphere, celebrating the close of 2026 with new friends, laughter, and beautiful memories. Happy New Year 2027! Begin the year with a relaxed morning, reflecting on the wonderful experiences of the trip. Enjoy breakfast and some leisure time, with opportunities to take photographs, explore nearby attractions, or enjoy additional activities depending on the group schedule and available time. We then prepare for our return journey arrangements.
After breakfast, we check out according to the accommodation arrangements and begin our return road trip to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic journey home as we share stories, photographs, and memories from our Rwandan adventure. We arrive in Nairobi with wonderful experiences to cherish and a beautiful start to the year ahead.
